The National Agent Coalition (NAC) serves as a voice for agents, who are on the front lines of bridging the digital divide through the Lifeline and Affordable Connectivity (ACP) programs. They will support the industry by providing resources for agents, increasing agent impact, and ensuring eligible consumers are enrolled. NAC also ensure enrollment efforts are conducted with the highest level of business standards and will meet on an ongoing basis to develop and maintain a rigorous Agent Code of Conduct, among other agent and distributor resources.
Agents represent the largest distribution group within the industry. Agent engagement within NaLA is a crucial resource to inform what is best for the Lifeline program and the communities it serves. The platform established by this new program gives agents the ability to self-regulate, collaborate, gain recognition, and represent the large agent base operating in the Lifeline industry.
The Agent Council will consist of MAPP & Agent Platform Program (APP) members who will collaborate with NaLA board members and other industry decision-makers to ensure NaLA recognizes the needs of distributors.
MAPP members will be recognized as trustworthy and dedicated advocates in the industry. NaLA will recognize distributors with outstanding performance in the industry.
Dues will support the Agent Council & the Regulatory and Government Affairs Committee (RAGAC). RAGAC funding supports NaLA’s legal, regulatory, and training resources.
