Washington, D.C. – The following statement can be attributed to David B. Dorwart, Chairman of the National Lifeline Association (NaLA):
“The National Lifeline Association (NaLA) congratulates President-Elect Trump and Vice President-Elect Vance on their victory in the 2024 presidential election. We are particularly grateful to Sen. Vance, who has been a staunch advocate for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), and look forward to his continued support for keeping low-income American households connected to affordable internet.
In our digital era, everyone — regardless of age, zip code or political affiliation — needs access to affordable, high-speed internet. NaLA is committed to working with the new Administration to ensure that the ACP and Universal Service Fund are reformed and refunded to make that a reality for the military families, veterans, seniors and hard-working families who have relied on the ACP to stay connected.”
